  • Our programme is Following the Aistear guidelines and principles. Aistear is Irelands curriculum framework for children from birth to six years.

Aistear is designed to work with the great variety of curriculum materials currently in use in early childhood settings. Using the board learning goals of Aistear, we will adapt our curriculum to make learning even mor enjoyed and rewarding for the children at the service.

Aistear describes the types of learning (dispositions, values and attitudes, skill, knowledge, and understanding) that are important for children in their early years and offers ideas and suggestions as to how this learning might be nurtured.

  • Our service works with Tusla regulation and inspection of all early years settings.

  • Our Service is working together with Better Start. The quality development service provides professional development to ECL settings, based on the national early childhood frameworks, Aistea, Siolta and the Quality and Regulation Framework.

  • In Inchicore Community Creche and Afterschool we are fully committed to being guided by the principles of Siolta. We recognise how important high-quality early childhood experience can be in children’s lives. Siolta support the improvement of quality in ECCE setting where the children are aged birth to six years.

  • Inchicore Community Creche and Afterschool fully comply with Children First, the National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children and with our Child & Adult Protection Policy. All staff and management also undergo training and fully comply with the Childcare Act 1991.
